RCSTEP (Research Center for Science, Technology and Education Policy) was established in 2005 as the Strategy Research Base of Ministry of Education, China. It focuses research on science and technology policy, and education policy. RCSTEP n ot only undertakes cross-disciplinary research between the development of technology and the reform of higher education, offers suggestions and recommendations for policies on promoting nation via science, technology and education, but also educates and trains high quality researchers on policy of science, technology and education.

Our missions are：
　To involve in the research on the development and planning of science, technology and education, in effort to provide policy recommendations；
　To undertake studies on strategies of the improvement of regional science, technology, education and economy；
　To enhance discipline development and educate first-class talents in the field of science, technology and education management；
　To organize studies and consultations for providing solutions to the problems during the development of colleges and universities; and
　To participate international and regional collaboration on science and education development to enforce the international influence of Zhejiang University in this field.
