With the deepening of globalization, science and technology-based innovation has become the engine of social and technological development and transition. Engineers' creative work is continuously playing an increasingly critical role in modern society and the future development.
Engineering education is becoming a priority issue all over the world. ICSTEP (International Conference on Science, Technology and Education Policy) will provide an international platform for global experts on science and engineering education to address issues in educating future innovative scientists and engineers to speed the progress of science, technology and innovation for the sustainable development. Next year, the ICSTEP 2008 will be held in the beautiful Hangzhou, focusing on the engineering, innovation and globalization.
Conference Objective
ICSTEP¡¯08 concentrates on exploring methods to promote engineering education with innovation and globalization views, discussing how to promote the development of innovative engineering education faculty, and establishing engineering education system for grooming international engineering graduates to meet the rigorous challenges under the ground of innovation and globalization.

Conference Operation
The Conference will feature invited speakers, presentations, breakout groups and a poster session. There will be opportunity for interaction of specialists, scholars and educators from different sectors and regions to change ideas on the designated themes and relative topics. A Conference Program Book including conference papers will be distributed.
